HealthInc 2020 is ready to start!

Amsterdam, 16 January 2020 – The 8 best startups are finally selected from almost 200 applications worldwide to join our HealthInc 2020 program. These talented entrepreneurs cover various aspects of the healthtech industry, including Chronic Disease Management, Predictive & Personalized Health, Women’s Health, Real-time Healthcare and improved Access to Care and Physician Health, Training & Assistance. Along with a board of juries, we selected 8 companies from the Top 16 teams that advanced to HealthInc’s Selection Days in Amsterdam on 14th and 15th of January. Making it this far, they had already completed a three month-long scouting phase and went through an evaluation of almost 200 applications from across the world.

Officially joining the program, the 8 selected startups will experience three months of intensive mentorship and training. They will be provided with structured mentorship, masterclasses, partner days and strategic guidance regarding their investment and business opportunities. Throughout the accelerator program, the startups will benefit from valuable partnerships that HealthInc offer through its extensive network of partners. This will open a pathway which will allow them access to potential customers, industry knowledge and investments, with the ultimate goal of becoming industry-leading companies on their own.

The accelerator program will culminate in May with a Demo Day, where the 8 teams will be invited to present their work to investors, mentors, partners and media.

Rogier van den Braak, CEO Sanquin Holding BV: “HealthInc is a bridge that connects promising startups with resourceful organizations in a Healthtech atmosphere. The network Sanquin can enter by participating in the HealthInc program is indeed very valuable for us. HealthInc offers a golden opportunity to get involved in cutting-edge technologies, whether it is big data, AI or machine learning, whilst pushing forward the quality of healthcare.”
